Abstract: This book (composed of 13 chapters) presents the injurious and beneficial insects (e.g. pollinators) of tropical fruit crops and how they might be controlled to enhance fruit production and quality. Information on the life history, behaviour, economic importance, and control of pests (e.g. nematodes and insects) by biological, cultural, chemical, and disease resistance mechanisms is provided. Chapters on banana, Citrus spp., mango, pawpaw, pineapple, Annona spp., avocado, guava, litchi (Litchi chinensis), longan (Dimocarpus longan), passion fruit (Passiflora spp.), and minor tropical fruit crops are included.
