The book has 16 chapters and is structured along the lifestyle stages of a crisis or disaster: (1) planning and preparedness activities before a crisis or disaster; (2) response to, or management of, a crisis or disaster as it occurs; and (3) a final resolution to a new or improved state after the crisis or disaster is over.
